King of Prussia Surgery Center

Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center selected this location in King of Prussia for their brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center. The existing structure was modified to include 2 operating rooms, 2 orthopedic enabled operating rooms, 11 patient bays, 3 private patient rooms, and staff and support spaces which occupy a total of 13,600 square feet within the building. The existing building envelope upgrades include a striking blue fin, entrance canopy, new windows, and façade treatments to convert this previously nondescript structure into a contemporary and welcoming entrance for visitors. Coordination with the PA Department of Health to meet 2018 FGI: Guidelines for Design and Construction of Outpatient Facilities was essential in making this project a success for the client.
