Sharswood Apartments

This project represents a unique collaboration between a community-minded developer and the Philadelphia Housing Authority. The project sits on a full City block and brings much needed affordable housing, provisions and health care to the Sharswood Neighborhood. Located just minutes from Center City Philadelphia, this transit-oriented development is served by two bus lines with immediate adjacency to the site. The program includes 4 buildings and 98 modular dwelling units, including family friendly two-bedroom and three-bedroom units. The dwelling units are located above retail first floors, preserving the street wall and the urban fabric of the neighborhood. The development features a much-needed grocery store and urgent care along with a public plaza, restaurants, banking and other retailers that serve the community.
