Wulff Architects, Inc. was selected by Iron Stone Real Estate Strategic Investment Partners to collaborate on the comprehensive Architectural Plan for the rebirth of the historic Women’s Medical College. Renamed Falls Center, their vision for the 8 building, 630,000 SF campus was to redevelop it as a mixed use campus. Wulff Architects teamed with Civic Visions to get the campus listed on the National Register of Historic Places and to obtain Historic Tax Credits for the construction. The original iconic hospital building structures at the front of the property were designed for a conversion into 135 market rate apartments. Following an Agreement with Philadelphia University, the apartments were modified to accommodate the requirements of students and were constructed as off-site housing for graduate level students.
