SUNOCO
NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA
Ellis Preserve’s campus-like setting (found in Newtown Square) attracted Sunoco specifically because they were not only looking to consolidate several of their departments but they also wanted to convey a more contemporary image for their company. The new, angular façade—with its sleek, metallic materials and expansive glass—creates dimension where there had once been a lackluster, average corporate office building. The focal point of this building is the museum-like main lobby, which has an abundance of natural light, open space, and sculptural pieces of art on display.
